Hugo Lloyd-Winder is currently working on a book, exploring the intersection of politics,escapism and process.
His work is an in-between-world. He collaborates with his own limitations in knowledge, understanding and skill. He uses many different theoretical mediums to express this reckoning as an extension of the mind and body, both spiritually and metaphorically.
Laments' works are from a specific series made for this project. The works focus on the experience of loss and the escapism of thought.
I see in every season, elements of death and rebirth and thus many moments of reflection and release. This moment we collectively find ourselves in, has infinite converging pathways of thought, reflection, lamentation and celebration.
